Miller Nash welcomes Nick Hesterberg as special counsel to the firm’s construction & insurance recovery team. Nick, based in our Seattle office, has an extensive litigation background and represents clients in a wide array of complex business disputes, including antitrust and unfair competition matters, trade secret and intellectual property claims, contract disputes, business torts, and environmental litigation. Nick's clients range from market leaders to emerging companies in numerous industries, including manufacturing, retail, technology, health care, and transportation. Additionally, he maintains an active pro bono practice focused on representing individuals in immigration proceedings.

Nick practiced for nearly nine years at an Am Law 50 firm, where he gained extensive experience in all phases of the litigation process and helped secure numerous favorable outcomes for clients through settlement, arbitration, trial, and appeal. He then directed a nonprofit organization supporting environmental and land rights lawsuits brought in courts around the world.

Nick received his bachelor’s degree from Lewis & Clark College before earning his law degree at the University of Washington School of Law.
