Miller Nash attorney, Alexandra Hutchinson, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA).
"I’m looking forward to working more closely with NWABA in this role,” says Alex. “NWABA’s mission to create more inclusive opportunities in sports is incredibly inspiring and I’m excited to play a role in furthering their goals.”
Founded in 2007, NWABA is a national leader dedicated to improving the quality of life for children, youth, and adults through participation in sports and physical activity in communities across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. NWABA’s programs and services serve individuals of all ages and abilities who are blind and visually impaired. Their programs offer opportunities in 15+ sports, from teaching children to swim for the first time to providing week-long residential camp experiences.

Alex assists businesses in a wide range of corporate transactional matters. She reviews, drafts, and negotiates a variety of contracts, in addition to advising on issues related to mergers and acquisitions, franchising, and sports, entertainment and media. She has a background in securities and business litigation, giving her a unique perspective into how businesses operate, and the protections needed to avoid disputes. Alex received her bachelor’s degree from Portland State University before earning her law degree at Willamette University College of Law.
