Nicoleas Mayne Elected to CASA for Children Board of Directors

Miller Nash LLP attorney Nicoleas Mayne was recently elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children of Multnomah, Washington & Columbia counties. CASA advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children who are in custody of the state and under the protection of the court. The organization dedicates resources to recruiting, training, and supporting citizen advocates to provide quality advocacy to as many children as possible. Miller Nash has been a longtime supporter of CASA through board participation and charitable giving. Mayne has served on CASA’s Ambassador Board for the past four years.

Mayne is a member of Miller Nash’s business law team and sports, entertainment & media industry practice group. His practice focuses on reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide variety of agreements for businesses, individuals, and educational institutions, assisting businesses with formation and equity raising, and providing guidance to clients throughout the M&A process. Mayne is active in his community—in addition to his service with CASA, he also serves on the Portland Opera Ambassador Board, is a member of the Sports Lawyers’ Association, and regularly volunteers with Oregon Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. Mayne is a graduate of Harvard Law School, and received his bachelor’s from The Masters University.
