Represented public school district in lawsuit brought by construction contractor claiming breach of contract and violation of Oregon’s Prompt Pay Act. The parties settled the lawsuit on terms favorable to the school district.

Negotiated utility franchises with metro-area cities on behalf of telecommunications and energy utilities.
Obtained dismissal of lawsuit alleging violations of restrictive covenants contained in sale of client’s business to out-of-state employer.
Represented local transit authority in condemnation trial for light rail expansion project. Jury returned verdict that did not exceed the transit authority’s pretrial settlement offer and ultimately offset the just compensation award for a special benefits credit. No fees or costs awarded to property owner. (12-Person Jury Trial)
