Represented a major forest products manufacturer in an eminent domain action. Manufacturer held a leasehold interest in property along the Blair Waterway at the Port of Tacoma. The highest offer before trial was $5 million. Our client recovered $12 million. (12-Person Jury)
Represented property owner and contractor accused of puncturing sewer pipe running under the Duwamish River near the West Seattle Bridge.
Prepared two recent customs petitions for clients experiencing product seizure and penalties, with the result of 100 percent and 90 percent penalty decreases, respectively. One of these results was particularly difficult to obtain because the client had in fact violated registered intellectual property rights with products it had manufactured in China for U.S. sales.
Assisted waste removal franchisor in acquisition of six franchise locations for $20 million.
Formed a Delaware subsidiary and prepared offering documents for founders preferred stock offering, including organizational documents, offering documents, securities filings, and related corporate instruments.
