Tried to defense verdict before a jury a multi-party injury lawsuit alleging personal injuries arising from exposure to byproducts of defective fuel oil.
Represented life insurance company as both seller and buyer of downtown office buildings and suburban office/flex space.
Cancer therapy start-up license agreement. Erich has long been outside general counsel for this cancer therapy start-up. He recently assisted the company with a major international license transaction in which the company’s therapeutic drug will be used in clinical trials in the U.S. and overseas.
Appointed to serve as the future claimants representative for unknown and minor abuse victims in the chapter 11 case concerning the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Portland and to serve as the examiner in the chapter 11 case concerning the owner of the multipurpose arena in Portland originally known as the Rose Garden.
Advised higher education and K-12 clients on revisions of policies, procedures, and guidance regarding the 2020 Title IX regulations.
Assisted client with becoming compliant with its B&O tax obligations and with negotiating payment of back taxes.
Purchase and Sale Agreement. Negotiated a purchase and sale agreement for the sale of 200 acres of a soon-to-be former dairy farm in Camas, Washington.
