Midlevel Litigation & Construction Associate–Portland, Oregon (Hybrid Position)
Miller Nash is seeking a midlevel litigation and construction associate with two to four years of experience to join our Construction and Insurance Recovery Department and Litigation Practice Team in our Portland office.
Our ideal candidate will have practical experience with many phases of construction and construction litigation, including contract negotiations, dispute analysis, legal research, negotiation, factual investigation and discovery, drafting pleadings, and dispositive motion practice. The successful candidate will also have strong communication and writing skills, good judgment, analytical ability, and the ability to work in a team environment.
We are looking for a team member who is hard working and responsive, exercises good judgment under pressure, has excellent research and writing skills, is self-directed while maintaining the ability to work in a team environment, and will be ready to hit the ground running on pending cases and immediate client needs. This position requires strong trial skills including litigation strategy, motion practice, and discovery with strong written and oral communication skills.
Candidates must be a member of the Oregon State Bar Association or eligible for reciprocity. A Washington State Bar license is a plus. Flexible hybrid work arrangements are available to all Miller Nash attorneys.

Compensation:

- Associate level based on years of experience: Compensation range from $148,250–$196,000 (before potential discretionary bonus)
