Miller Nash Graham & Dunn LLP is pleased to announce that Shanelle Honda has joined the firm’s Portland office. Honda will continue to focus her practice on litigation and insurance recovery. For the past four years, she worked in private practice for a Portland-based litigation and insurance recovery law firm. Before that, Honda served as a judicial clerk for nearly two years at the Multnomah County Circuit Court for the Honorable Jerome E. LaBarre.
About Shanelle Honda
Honda’s litigation practice spans a range of commercial and business disputes for both plaintiffs and defendants, while her insurance recovery practice focuses exclusively on representing policyholders and includes a variety of complex insurance coverage matters. Honda is currently serving on the executive committee for the Owen M. Panner American Inn of Court and previously served on the Oregon State Bar Diversity Section’s executive and CLE committees. Honda is also an alumna of the National Education for Women’s Leadership of Oregon. She received her bachelor’s degree from Portland State University before earning her law degree at Lewis & Clark Law School. While in law school, Honda externed for the Honorable Michael W. Mosman of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. Before pursuing a legal career, Honda worked in the banking industry for nearly seven years.
