Miller Nash LLP is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed Diversity Lab’s Mansfield 2023-2024 Law Firm Certification and has achieved Mansfield Certification Plus status—making 2024 the fifth year the firm has earned the Certification Plus distinction. The firm was one of over 360 leading law firms nationwide receiving Certification under Mansfield 2023-2024 Certification and one of over 180 firms receiving Certification Plus status this year.

In continuing its commitment to diversity and inclusion in the legal profession, the firm is also proud to share that it is taking the next step by participating in the Mansfield Rule 2024-2025 Certification Program.

To earn our Plus designation, we voluntarily shared data with Diversity Lab to highlight our progress and results in expanding talent pools and enhancing the visibility of our advancement processes.

“Our achievement of Mansfield Certification Plus status reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within our firm,” said Brie Coyle Jones, the firm’s chief diversity officer. “This milestone not only highlights our progress but also motivates us to continue enhancing our practices and broadening our talent pipeline. We are dedicated to creating an environment where diverse voices are not only heard but also celebrated.”

Participation in Mansfield 2024-2025 reflects Miller Nash’s commitment to fostering genuine diversity and inclusion throughout the firm—across all management levels, practice teams, committees, and project staffing. To further this commitment, the firm takes several proactive steps, including offering 1L Diversity Fellowships each summer, establishing various identity-based affinity groups for camaraderie and professional growth, providing a flexible day of paid time off to support racial justice and promote antiracist learning, and sharing a cultural calendar that highlights educational resources for a diverse range of cultural holidays. Additionally, the firm leads in sponsoring and participating in local minority bar association events, offers fee discounts to small and emerging women- and minority-owned businesses, and provides up to 150 hours of billable hour credit to attorneys for diversity, inclusion, and pro bono work.
