Miller Nash LLP is proud to announce its inclusion in The National Law Journal's 2024 LGBTQ+ Scorecard, ranking #8 among national law firms, advancing from #12 in 2023. This recognition underscores the firm's ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all attorneys and staff.

The National Law Journal's LGBTQ+ Scorecard ranks U.S.-based firms that have reported the number of self-identified LGBTQ+ associates, partners, and counsel at their firms. Miller Nash's inclusion on this list highlights its efforts to create a workplace where LGBTQ+ lawyers can thrive individually and contribute fully to the firm's overall success.

“I am thrilled that Miller Nash LLP has been recognized on The National Law Journal's LGBTQ+ Scorecard for 2024, affirming our commitment to fostering an inclusive environment,” says Brie Coyle Jones, the firm’s chief diversity officer. “This recognition emphasizes our ongoing efforts to support and empower LGBTQ+ attorneys within our firm, and our dedication to advancing diversity and inclusion initiatives. These efforts not only benefit our firm as a whole, but contribute positively to the legal profession and the communities we serve.”

Miller Nash LLP has a long-standing history of supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives both within the firm and in the broader legal community. In addition to participating in Mansfield 2023-2024, the firm continues to take additional actions to further our commitment, which include offering 1L Diversity Fellowships each summer, creating several identity-based affinity groups to offer camaraderie and professional development opportunities, offering a flexible day of paid time off to support racial justice and promote antiracist learning, and sharing a firm cultural calendar that provides additional educational information and resources throughout the year for a broad range of cultural holidays. The firm remains a leader in sponsoring and participating in local minority bar association activities and events, offers fee discounts to small and emerging women and minority businesses, and continues to provide up to 150 hours of billable hour credit to attorneys for diversity and inclusion efforts, as well as general pro bono work.
