Miller Nash Graham & Dunn Welcomes Four New Associates to Its Portland and Seattle Offices

Pacific Northwest law firm Miller Nash Graham & Dunn LLP welcomes four exceptional associates to the firm. In the Portland office, Olivia Schneider Grabacki joins the firm's growing business team, while Brandon Reeves joins the firm's deep litigation team. In the Seattle office, Christian Hawthorne-McClenny and Amber Louis join the firm's strong litigation team.

Olivia Schneider Grabacki
Grabacki, based in Portland, joins the business team. She recently earned her law degree at Lewis & Clark Law School, where she was a Dean's Scholarship recipient and served as an associate editor for the Environmental Law Review, earning the Outstanding Associate Editor award. During law school, she also served as a contracts teaching fellow, a peer mentor and an extern for the Western Resources Legal Center. In 2015 and 2016, Grabacki worked as a law clerk for the Washington County District Attorney’s Office. In 2016, she participated in Miller Nash Graham & Dunn's summer associate program, working on general business as well as environmental and natural resource litigation matters.

Brandon Reeves
Reeves joins the firm’s litigation team. Reeves recently earned his law degree from the University of Washington School of Law and his master's degree in speech pathology from Vanderbilt University. While attending law school, Reeves worked as a legal intern at the Seattle Community Law Center, where he consulted on the Social Security Administration appeals process for receiving disability benefits. In 2012, he worked at the Boulder Valley School District as a speech language pathologist, evaluating and treating communication disorders for K-12 students. Reeves earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky. In 2016, Reeves participated in Miller Nash Graham & Dunn's summer associate program, assisting local, national and international clients in a variety of disputes in state and federal courts.

Christian Hawthorne-McClenny
Hawthorne-McClenny joins the firm’s litigation team. She earned her law degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. While attending law school, she served as assistant editor of the British Journal of American Legal Studies, Birmingham City University—UK. During law school, Hawthorne-McClenny also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Carol A. Schapira of the King County Superior Court and as a legal intern for Indiana University Student Legal Services, where she practiced immigration law, landlord-tenant litigation and family law. Before attending law school, Hawthorne-McClenny worked as a residential counselor for at-risk adolescents living with mental illness. Hawthorne-McClenny began her career at Miller Nash Graham & Dunn as a summer associate in 2016, where she frequently worked on projects that involved trademark infringement, real estate law, condemnation disputes and employment and labor litigation. She earned her undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech.

Amber Louis
Louis, based in Seattle, joins the firm’s litigation team. She recently earned her law degree, with honors, at Seattle University School of Law, where she was an articles editor for the Seattle Journal for Social Justice. During law school, Louis served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Stephen J. Dwyer of the Washington State Court of Appeals and as an extern in the special assault unit of the King County Prosecuting Attorney's office. As a legal intern in the Community Development and Entrepreneurial Clinic, she counseled a local start-up company regarding various business and legal matters. Before law school, Louis volunteered with the King County Bar Association's Housing Justice Project as a legal assistant. In 2016, Louis participated in Miller Nash Graham & Dunn's summer associate program, assisting with matters involving eminent domain, tribal regulation, employment discrimination, trusts and estates, general business and banking and financial institutions. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington.
