The Portland Business Journal named Miller Nash Graham & Dunn Firm Chair Dennis Rawlinson and Managing Partner Kieran Curley as “CEOs of the Year” for professional services, capping a landmark year that saw strong growth and high visibility for the newly merged, larger firm. The Business Journal cited the strategic boost that Curley and Rawlinson accomplished with the recent combination of Miller Nash LLP and Graham & Dunn PC. Curley and Rawlinson were integral in the merger process, which became final January 1, 2015. The combination created a West Coast firm with nearly 160 attorneys across five offices located in Washington, Oregon and California.
“We appreciate the Business Journal’s recognition of our recent growth and accomplishments,” said Curley. “It was a great year for us, and we’re looking forward to more growth and expanding services for existing clients and future clients across the country in the years to come—all while continuing our tradition of responsive and personal service.”
The firm received multiple awards and recognition during 2014 for its diversity, contributions to the community and business success. These included the Portland Business Alliance’s Place With No Ceiling and Law360’s Ceiling Smasher Award for the advancement of women attorneys; being named one of the top-10 companies for philanthropy by the Portland Business Journal and a top-10 donor to the arts by Business for Culture & the Arts; and being named as one of the 10 most admired companies in professional services by the Portland Business Journal.
Miller Nash Graham & Dunn is now among the largest law firms in Seattle and remains a top-five firm in Portland. The firm recently combined its two Seattle offices into the former Graham & Dunn space at Pier 70 on Alaskan Way with stunning views of Puget Sound.
