Miller Nash welcomes Andrew Liese to the firm’s business & bankruptcy teams. Andrew, based in the firm’s Seattle office, is a business-focused attorney, with an emphasis on advising emerging businesses and technology companies.

Prior to joining Miller Nash, Andrew worked at a Pacific Northwest law firm focusing on business transactions, bankruptcy & creditors rights, and financial law. He previously spent over ten years as in-house counsel for a number of technology companies and counseled businesses on licensing agreements, data privacy, product development, and international trade compliance, among other issues.

Andrew fosters collaborative partnerships with his clients, working to understand their unique needs and approaching matters with a problem-solving mindset. In addition to his expertise in business law, he brings extensive experience assisting banks and other lenders in workout scenarios and representing creditors and other stakeholders in insolvency proceedings, including bankruptcies and receiverships. Andrew received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington before earning his law degree at the Vanderbilt University Law School.
