Kyle Sciuchetti Appointed as Washington State Bar Association Delegate to American Bar Association’s House of Delegates

Miller Nash LLP partner Kyle Sciuchetti has been appointed to serve a two-year term as a Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) delegate to the American Bar Association (ABA)’s House of Delegates. The House of Delegates acts as the legislative body of the ABA and helps to develop policy for the association. The House of Delegates is also tasked with electing ABA officers and Board of Governors. With nearly 600 members, representing state, local, and special-focused bars, the House of Delegates is an essential contributor to the governance and administration of the ABA. Kyle has served in many leadership roles with the WSBA, including as president from 2020-2021, as well as on various committees, boards, and workgroups.

Kyle is a partner in Miller Nash’s Vancouver, Washington office and is a member of the firm’s construction practice team. With more than 25 years of experience, Kyle focuses his practice on construction law and business litigation, as well as dispute resolution, lien foreclosures, and contract and lease negotiations. He represents clients in all levels of state and federal court in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Kyle previously served as senior in-house counsel for the Public Power Council, as assistant city attorney/prosecutor for the City of Spokane, Washington, and drafted legislation for the Washington State Legislature. He remains active within the community, serving as legal counsel to the Metropolitan Business Association Board of Directors, on the Humane Society for Southwest Washington Board, and as past chair of the Clark County Food Bank Board of Directors. Kyle earned two bachelor’s degrees at the University of Washington before receiving his law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School.
