Miller Nash Graham & Dunn LLP attorney Iván Resendiz Gutierrez was recently elected to serve as the president-elect of the Oregon Hispanic Bar Association (OHBA). The OHBA represents the voice of Latinos in Oregon's legal community. As part of its mission, the OHBA seeks to encourage Latinos to become attorneys; promote the advancement of Latino legal professionals; raise awareness of Latino legal issues; and support Latino law students and legal professionals. Resendiz Gutierrez has served as an OHBA board member since August 2015. Resendiz Gutierrez was also recently elected to serve as a board member of the Oregon Minority Lawyers Association.

Resendiz Gutierrez is an associate in the litigation practice group. He focuses his practice on business litigation, representing local and national clients on a variety of complex civil matters, including securities, ERISA, class action, employment and intellectual property disputes. Before joining Miller Nash Graham & Dunn, Resendiz Gutierrez served as a judicial clerk for the Hon. Lynn R. Nakamoto at the Oregon Supreme Court and the Oregon Court of Appeals. Resendiz Gutierrez is a proud “Double Duck”; he earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Oregon before receiving his law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law. Resendiz Gutierrez currently serves on the membership committee of the Multnomah Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and as a mentor at Willamette University College of Law.
