David Brandon Recognized as 2023 Accomplished Under 40 Honoree by the Idaho Business Review

Miller Nash LLP partner David Brandon has been selected as a 2023 Accomplished Under 40 honoree by the Idaho Business Review. This annual list recognizes Idaho business and professional leaders who have achieved success in the areas of professional work, leadership, mentorship and community service before the age of 40. David, along with the other honorees, were celebrated at the Accomplished Under 40 evening event on June 15, 2023.

His commitment to advancing and supporting many legal associations, in addition to his pro bono and mentor work demonstrates his success.”

Throughout his career, David has served as a contributing member of several bar association committees, but most notably, has given his time as a business mentor, adjunct professor at Boise State University, and Boise Entrepreneur Week committee member. David is also a veteran of the United States Navy, where he served from 2002 to 2006.

About David Brandon
David is co-leader of Miller Nash’s international practice team. His practice focuses on domestic and international transactional tax matters, with emphasis on cross-border mergers & acquisitions, reorganizations, spin-offs, investment structures, and joint ventures for middle-market businesses. In this context, David aids in identifying appropriate goals, finding creative solutions, and executing strategies for tax-efficiency and limiting risk, including structuring taxable and tax-free transactions, crafting transfer pricing strategies, and, where appropriate, counseling clients with respect to obtaining tax opinions and agency rulings.

For nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations, David provides US tax counsel on matters relating to global operations and maintaining tax-exempt status.

David received his B.B.A. from Gonzaga University, magna cum laude, his J.D. from University of Washington School of Law and his LL.M. from University of Washington School of Law in taxation. He also earned his Advanced Professional Certificate in Transfer Pricing from the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation in 2023.
