Protecting intellectual property from computer-related innovation requires a multi-pronged “early stage” strategy. Patenting software-related inventions and designs is particularly challenging. Miller Nash Partner Julie Reed will provide an update on software patenting, GUI interface patenting, and computer-related patenting in general, the process, the costs, timelines, and additional measures to protect your startup IP technology.
This presentation is part of the 2022 TiE Entrepreneurs Institute, hosted by TiE Seattle to help aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs understand the fundamentals of building and launching a startup from successful entrepreneurs, seasoned executives and domain experts in interactive sessions.
