Negotiated civil penalties for accused employee of admitted long-term FCPA violations where company paid more than $10 million in fines and entered into a multi-year compliance consent decree.

Represented hydroelectric turbine manufacturer in federal court against claims for product liability and resulting delay. After developing defenses with engineering and construction delay experts, obtained a favorable resolution for the client.

Drafted form construction contracts and revisions to AIA form contracts for public- and private-sector clients, including community colleges, private universities, school districts, and cities.
Defended numerous public and private employers against discrimination and retaliation charges filed with the EEOC, WHRC and local municipal civil rights commissions, and against wage and hour claims filed with the United States Department of Labor and the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries.
