Michelle Baird-Johnson Joins Miller Nash as Director of Recruiting and Professional Development

    Portland, Oregon – Miller Nash is pleased to welcome Michelle Baird-Johnson to the firm. Michelle has 9 years of legal recruiting experience, and over 14 years of total experience in the legal industry, having also worked as a paralegal in the areas of bankruptcy and business law.

    As the firmwide Director of Recruiting and Professional Development, Michelle will manage the recruiting and professional development department, focusing on the career planning, continuing education, and professional growth of the firm’s associate attorneys.

    Before joining Miller Nash, Michelle served as the Lawyer Recruiting Manager at Stoel Rives LLP, in Portland, Oregon. She received her bachelor’s degree in behavioral and social science from the University of Utah.

    Michelle is a member of the National Association for Law Placement, Oregon Legal Recruiting Association, Inc., Oregon State Bar Diversity Section, and Society for Human Resource Management. She volunteers with the American Lung Association and the Portland Area Theatre Alliance.
