We believe that a diversity of people and ideas helps create a healthy work environment and produces a better end product and participate with multiple organizations that support diversity in the Northwest's business and legal communities. That's why we actively recruit lawyers, paralegals and support staff from diverse backgrounds. We also offer up to two $7,500 Diversity Fellowships every year to first- and second-year law students. We sponsor scholarships for INROADS, a leadership training program for ethnically diverse college students, as well as contribute to the scholarship funds of other organizations that support diversity.
In 2008, Miller Nash received the Frank C. Carr Community Service Award from INROADS. That award, named for the founder of INROADS, is given to the entity who has demonstrated vision, empathy, purpose, and resiliency in support of the INROADS' mission and serving the community.
